Beyond the Classroom are proud to run all school camps and activities at the iconic Narnu Farm on Hindmarsh Island, approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes from Adelaide, South Australia.

Set on Hindmarsh Island, Narnu Farm has a bunkhouse, cabins, a camping area, large undercover areas, and a range of activities onsite including animal feeding and a blacksmith show.

 

Narnu Farm has been offering camps for close to 40 years and Beyond the Classroom began as the exclusive camp operator in 2023. The camp currently caters to 100 guests in dorm rooms and cabins. Extra guests can be accommodated in tents. There is a dining hall and picturesque views of the Goolwa Lakes with room for students to plan and explore.

 

All camp users get free use of the fire pit, basketball ring, tennis courts, table tennis, movies, and more.

 

Narnu Farm caters to mostly Primary Schools, with camps in the following themes:

 

  • Pioneer Adventure – Students will learn important history lessons, feed farm animals, see old technology, and experience yesteryear in a fun way.
  • Eco Adventure – A fun adventure camp including the history and animal feeding, ecology, and adventure including kayaking, and more.
  • Surf & Sun Adventure – An action-packed camp including the above, plus adventure experiences depending on the needs of the school, including a learn-to-surf lesson, bike riding, introduction to abseiling, and more.
