Beyond the Classroom manage Willow Creek Adventure Camp, a school camp property near Victor Harbor, approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes from Adelaide, South Australia.

 

Set on an 800-acre working farm, Willow Creek Adventure Camp has dorm rooms, a camping area, a teacher’s cottage, a manager’s house, and a range of activities onsite.

 

The camp was originally built in 1974 and was completely renovated in 2020 when Beyond the Classroom took over. The camp currently caters to 130 guests in tents and dorm rooms. There is a dining hall and picturesque 3 acres of the immediate area around the camp buildings for students to play and explore.

 

All camp users get free use of the fire pit, volleyball, bocce court, giant chess and checkers, table tennis, disc golf, and projectors, and movies.

 

In the main scrub area, Beyond the Classroom has built a 5km mountain bike track, challenge structures, climbing frame, orienteering course, raft building dam, bushwalking tracks, and more. It is a true outdoor education centre on the Fleurieu Peninsula.
